As we begin July, our family gets ready for a busy month. We have a ton of friend and family birthdays this month, a few parties at our house, the Waseca Fair, a wedding, George/Brigette/Ryan visiting, a cabin vacation, and Nick's Sturgis trip. All in 5 weekends.

In June we took J.P. to Valleyfair for the first time. Crazy cousin Henry came with and they rode the boats, planes, trains, cars, and even went into a Foam Ball factory and went crazy throwing and shooting balls everywhere. We tried the kid rollercoaster but J.P. only made it around once. The boys were more interested in the sweet treats and games. Each one a stuffed animal, which J.P. now sleeps with and accordingly named "Valleyfair Puppy".

J.P. also got to go to Raceway Park with our neighbors and even our old neighbor Jake. They watch the race cars and motorcycles. He was excited to tell me about the motorcycle that crashed and then the ambulance came. Then we went to watch fireworks in Savage with the Bauleke boys on Saturday. J.P. hesitated at first, but then joined the rest of us to enjoy the light show. Sunday was the Savage parade and J.P. liked collecting candy and actually didn't mind the clowns this time. Carson sat in his stroller to watch and started wiggling and dancing every time music or a band came by.

Daddy went on a business trip and broke his middle finger playing softball. He spent a few miserable days in a Madison hotel and hospital waiting room. He is still recovering and it is pretty swollen and purple still. So much for riding that motorcycle in the garage. The kids and I went to visit all the relatives in Waseca and enjoyed the new waterpark. J.P. also got to see all his friends at G&G's daycare. He loves the twins Jacob and Noah.

Because of Daddy's injury, J.P. and I went to swim lessons on Monday (outdoors). It was freezing and the kids were not cooperating much since they were shaking. J.P. did let me drop him off the diving board twice though. Daddy owes Mommy big time for that one. Carson is taking 2-4 steps at a time and can now get up to standing from the sitting position all on his own. Any day now he will just start running across the room after his brother. The fighting over toys has started and J.P. is being very protective of all his favorite toys. Carson has learned to scream when J.P. takes something away or even raises his voice at him. Here we go.....
