So Carson is now called Bam Bam. He has been carrying (actually more like dragging) around this little orange bat. Hence the pictures above. He brings it all over the place and cries whenever we take it away. He can hold onto it for hours at a time. Funny now but hopefully we can distract him soon. He is standing on his own a lot now and even stood up front sitting last weekend. We have really noticed how much he follows J.P. now and wants to be right in on the action. When you try to pull him away he screams. Of course, he always goes for the toy that big brother is holding at the moment.
J.P. had his first swim lessons tonight. The pool is an outdoor, sandbottom pool so water was freezing since we haven't had a ton of warm weather. We spent a few days last week road-trippin' to Illinois. We visited George's house for two nights and then spent a night in WI Dells. The kids both loved the waterpark because it was very toddler oriented and shallow. J.P. is getting really brave with the water slides and jumping off the side. They both did good in the car but I was ready to be home after a few hours of driving.
Today we went to a park where the MN Zoo brings a few small animals to show the kids. We saw an armadillo, snake, owl, and tarrancula up close. J.P. didn't get why they couldn't bring the zebras and lions though.
