Rachel Lind's little boy Gavin, 6 weeks older than CarsonWe had another busy weekend at the Kuchenbecker house. Our to-do list was quite long and amazingly enough we almost completed it. Nick and I were both exhausted by Sunday night but it feels good to get caught up on things since we've been preoccupied lately. Grandpa and Grandma K. came up Friday night so that Nick and I could go to dinner. It was so nice to be out at a restaurant and have adult conversation that isn't broken up by yelling at the kids to cooperate or a baby crying.
J.P.'s new hobby is searching for bugs and snakes out in the fields by our house. Today he fell behind as we were walking and I turned around to see him holding a dried-up piece of dog poop. He said to me, "Look mom, snake is sleeping". We tell him things are sleeping when they are actually dead. I am a germ/dirt freak and much to my dismay I had not brought baby wipes with. UGH!!!!
Saturday we went to Sever's Corn Maze and J.P. had a blast. He jumped in the corn pit, fed the goats, went down the big slide, rode a horse, ate mini donuts, and ran like crazy through the hay bale maze (see video). Needless to say he slept well that night.
