Here we go. Moving Day is fast approaching!!!!

The moving is in full swing.  I have been packing for a month and we still haven't really looked for anything that we feel is missing.  So sad that you have so much stuff you don't really use but once or twice a year.  Once I started packing the toys on Wednesday, then the boys started asking to play with things they saw me putting in boxes.  Thankfully the weather is nice so we can play outside.  We have loaded a 16 ft. trailer in the driveway with our garage and outdoor stuff.  The living room is full of boxes and the kitchen is almost empty.  Now we are spending the week eating all the random stuff in our freezer and cupboards. 

Much to J.P.'s delight, it was his last day of school Friday. His four reasons why he's happy about school being over for the year:

1. he knows summer means his cousins are home from school, his birthday, swimming, and wearing shorts!
2. this means we get to move to our new house in a few days
3. it was outside game day on his last day of school (pics below)
4. sleeping in 

We already been busy going to the races at Raceway Park, visited Chutes & Ladders outdoor park yesterday, and even went paddleboating.  The kids thought they saw Nessy (Loch Ness Monster) a few times so our paddleboating adventure was cut short.  J.P. is always excited when we can have "Daddy Days" on the weekend.  After a long week of packing and sticking the kids in front of the TV, Mom was getting pretty boring.
