I swear we are so busy lately that I have to glance at the calendar to remember what we've been doing lately and all the places we've went. Lots of time at the park and playing with my MOMS Club friends. Of course, we have to take a trip down the street to visit George and Oliver every once in a while. J.P. begs to play with his cousins very often and acts like we never see them. He loves going to play sports in Charlie and Will's backyard. He is now on Will's T-Ball team and Uncle Brandon is the coach. Now we really have to practice staying in our position in the field instead of always running from outfield to first base to field the ball.
.
He is also really get good at swimming this summer and that makes it a lot easier for me to take him and Carson to the pool. He is doing swim lessons on his own, with just the lifeguards in the water and I think that helps his confidence. Last week the class had the option of going down the big, curvy waterslide and he was the only one of seven kids in his class to go down on his own. My brave little guy! The other walked all the way to the top and chickened out.
.
Carson loves the water too but his bravery has caused some problems. At the Waseca waterpark he took off running and jumped right into the deep end. Never hesitated or even looked where he was going. Plus, he loves to dunk under and drink the water so that leads to lots of choking. Ugh!!! The boys had a blast at Camp Dels in Waterville on 4th of July weekend. We rented a small cabin (that's camping to us) and spent 4 days swimming at their waterpark, mini-golfing, tried paddleboating, had no luck fishing, and spent time in Waseca for the holiday too. Grandmas and Grandpas came to visit us at the cabin and Grandma Toni wasn't too thrilled about the chickens in the petting zoo.
.
I finally made it to Target Field with my Mom for a Twins game. It is so fun and I recommend it just for the experience. Feels like your at the State Fair there are so many people and vendors.
