So sad because Daddy was away for 3 days
So happy because he's back!

It was a long week for us since Nick was gone on business and both kids were a handful. Carson is very active and wants to be held and then wants to be walking. Too bad he can't walk and I can't hold him when J.P. constantly wants to wrestle or play cars with me. Plus, Carson got a mild eye infection so we were at the doctor and then at the pharmacy. J.P. is very emotional since we got back from vacation. He is skipping naps here and there so that doesn't help. The potty training is going well and we've got him to now poop in the potty a few times. I think he's stressed out from all the pressure to use the potty.

Sunday we had a retirement party for my Dad. He worked at the same company for 41 years. The kids were a little bit of a wreck due to short or no naps and running around like crazy with all the cousins. Today we had an Easter party with the MOMS club at his friend Augie's house. We decorated Easter eggs and the highlight was that Camryn and Caitlyn got to ride in our car to the party. It's the little things that they love. He was outside before nap just running crazy. The fresh air and feel of grass under his feet is like gold to him. Lots of plans for the weekend. Chili feed here tonight with the neighbors and some friends, visiting Landon's new baby brother Preston on Saturday, and hopefully more pooping.....
