Well it's not exactly a good Friday around here. Carson is fighting a little head cold and just not himself today. I think the teething is kicking into high gear. Good news is he found his voice but the bad news is that he learned to scream. He is also trying hard to crawl but gets lazy and just flops on his belly. He can pretty much roll to wherever he needs to go though. We still are having a little irritation in his eyes so we had to do a blood draw yesterday in his arm to test for allergies. Nothing severe but has lasted two weeks now and he doesn't have pink eye. Hopefully he's not allergic to cats or Baxter and Wrigley will be sorely disappointed.

Sean and Marc Zika came up for a sleepover last Friday night and then we went to the zoo on Saturday. They had fun despite the chilly temps and lack of baby farm animals to be born yet. But the bears were always a hit and I've included a video for those of you who have not seen the new exhibit yet. It is so up close. Then we were off to visit Baby Preston. Landon and J.P. were just glad to see eachother. J.P. also had fun going to the Twins game with Landon on Tuesday. He was a little sad because he wanted to get out on the field and play. But Daddy bought him a real baseball and now he wants to practice all the time in the basement. He even taps the plate before he swings.

Yesterday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt for the MOMS club and J.P. scored big. He was quite the scavenger. Little does he know what is to come this weekend. He had no interest in sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap this year at the mall. We just observed from a distance. Today the neighbor twins are over and they are jumping away in the bouncer. He has a blast with them but I see them look at him every once in a while like he's nuts. He's entertainment to them.

Carson is growing like a weed. He is the same weight as J.P. , but is much taller at 8 months old. J.P. wasn't this tall until 10 months old. We are now wearing some 18 month clothes. Have a great Easter. God Bless.
