Since I last wrote a lot has been going on with our family. Nick and I traveled to Sonoma/San Francisco, CA for 5 days while J.P. went to Waseca. He played with all the daycare kids at GG Kuchenbecker's and hung out with crazy cousin Henry at GG Bauleke's. Of course, lots of chasing down trains in Waseca since the tracks run right through town.
We enjoyed Wine Country (even though I couldn't drink) and the weather was 85 and sunny. We visited Ryan Hoffman and his fiance in San Francisco for one day. What a big, diverse city and the Bay was so neat. The 4-hr plane rides were hard for me but it was worth it.
Once we got home, J.P.'s runny nose had developed into a bulging ear infection. Plus, he's been projectile vomiting, feverish, and now diarrhea. Two trips to the doctor and one late-night phone call have us watching closely for dehydration. But ear infection is healing. He is pretty sluggish and has been eating very little.
I went in for my prenatal heart echo and they didn't see any holes/murmurs, so that was a bit of good news during this hectic week. Welcome back to the real world for Mom & Dad.
