We have been enjoying this nice weather the last few days. J.P. loves to swing so we bounce from our swingset to the neighbors everyday. He also enjoys pushing his toy trains down the slide. We bought him a tricycle but he doesn't quite have the patience to learn the pedaling yet. Would you if your garage was full of motorized toys and then a stupid manual trike came around???
He is still a little emotional from us being on vacation for 5 days and then being sick for 2 weeks. That mixed in with the "terrible 2's" is giving Nick and I a run for our money. He is throwing a lot more fits, being very picky on eating, and crying a lot more. But they say kids go through grow spurts (emotionally and physically) every 6 months and that can throw them off. I am really struggling with him now that my belly is so big and I can't manuever him the same way anymore. I am almost 26 weeks now and will go in for another check/ultrasound in 3 weeks.
We think J.P. is having dreams now because when we go in to wake him he will sit straight up and start telling us stories. Usually about bears, trains, fish, Henry, all the usual favorites. We took Henry along today for his haircut but even that didn't help, as once again J.P. cried and wiggled the entire time.
Have a wonderful day!
Brooke, Nick, and J.P.
