Lucy Bauleke
After 6 baby boys in 7 years (and Brigette's due with a boy in late October), we have a baby girl in our family. Lucy Jeanette Bauleke was born on Monday, August 10th to my brother Brandon, his wife Jenny, and brother Charlie (5) and Will (3 1/2). She was 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 20 inches long. She is as pink as a pig and has light hair. She seems to look similiar to her brother Will right now. Everyone is home now and doing fine. There is a video of her below.
An update on my Aunt Cheryl. She is living at Courage Center for the month of August to do intensive physical and speech therapy. She is speaking a few words now and is using a wheelchair to get around. It is so nice to see her up and around. We took the boys to visit last week and she was very happy to have us there. She seems to recognize everyone and is getting her boisterous laugh back.
Carson almost has his first tooth. It is just waiting to pop through. It definitely doesn't affect his eating because he has a huge appetite and is in his highchair at least 6 times per day snacking. J.P. got a small infection on his finger this week that caused a high fever. He is on antibiotics now. We have been beating the heat this week with lots of swimming. Hope you are staying cool too!

Yeah!! Baby Lucy is beautiful - - and probably has more girly dresses than any baby should be allowed to have. :-) Congrats to Jenny, Brandon and the boys.
